Workshops
The experimental knitting workshops aim push the boundaries, to challenge the female, craft associations of textiles. Participants are encouraged to play, and make their own discoveries, with mistakes celebrated as part of the creative process!
Experimental Knitting Workshop and Courses
Suitable for all abilities, the sessions focus on exploring materials, using simple techniques to create both art and sculpture. Although the emphasis is on creating experimental artwork, many of the techniques could be adapted for practical purposes. The session is very informal, with attendees encouraged to explore materials and make their own discoveries – there is no right or wrong way, only a vast range of possibilities!
