I had a great evening at Take the Floor #6 on Sunday 27th May 2018, at Chelsea Theatre, World’s End. The eclectic night ranged from dance, theatre, music, story-telling, short plays and even a virtual reality experience.
I was at the event showing my knitted sculptures, with two new pieces Kinder I and II making their exhibition debut. The pieces combine nurture with the unsettling uncanny, as woollen blankets and knitted pieces resemble indefinable organic forms and internal organs.
The event run by the Monday Club celebrates up-and-coming artistic talent, and aims to create an exciting fusion between various art forms to encourage future collaborations.
