Looking forward taking part in the Micro Residency run by Threads DIY Gallery Kent!!! I will be participating in the one day event at Ideas Test, Sittingbourne on the 17th October – a day of making art, will be followed by an evening critique.
Part of the programme included visiting the crits of the other participating artists - I really enjoyed attending sessions in Folkstone, Dover and the celebration in Canterbury. Not only did I get the opportunity to learn more about the programme and the other artists' work, but also took the time to do some sightseeing and take inspiration from the local attractions (Canterbury Roman Museum, Western Heights Dover and Folkstone Martello Tower).
Greatly looking forward to my own residency in Sittingbourne in October!
