Delighted to have been a part of Femfair on the 9th September in London!
I exhibited my new body of work the 'Feminist Patchwork Collection' for the first time. The collection uses domestic textiles to explore attitudes to the traditional role of women, with the female form abstracted into a simple patchwork pattern.
Femfair (part of Femfest 8th-10th September) curated by Renatta Maniski-Luke from Sweet ‘Art, featured the work of 30 women or on-binary identifying artists and makers. The festival celebrated the voices and experiences of those identifying as women, and featured a range of artists, filmmakers, visual artists and designers.
So grateful to Sweet ‘Art for the opportunity to show my work to a new audience, and make new friends.
